From a market cart
to your local

Hearth & Bean started with one idea: a café that feels like an extension of your living room. Great coffee is the easy part — the warmth is what brings people back.

How we got here

2019
Two friends, one tiny espresso cart, and a corner of the Saturday market.
2020
We signed the lease on 12 Maple Lane — four tables and a secondhand roaster.
2022
The kitchen grew: pastries baked in-house every morning, brunch on weekends.
Today
A full room of regulars, beans roasted weekly, and your seat by the window.

We buy single-origin beans from growers we can name, and roast them here every week.

Everything made here

If it’s in the cabinet, it came out of our oven that morning. No exceptions.

Dogs, prams, laptops, long chats — this is your space as much as ours.
